Our Practice

We offer complete psychiatric and psychological services to the injured worker and companies that demand performance from all their human resource investments. Our multidisciplinary staff is experienced in all aspects of Workers Compensation, providing a variety of specialized treatments while working closely with all parties involved.

From precise medical-legal reports, to counseling and medical management, our professional staff guides patients through the entire workers' compensation process, while working closely with supervisors, case managers and adjusters to anticipate and remove obstacles that might interfere with a rapid return to work and productivity.

Dr. Perry Maloff became Board Certified in Psychiatry & Neurology in 1984, after completing a residency in psychiatry at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute in 1982.  Dr. Maloff has been evaluating and treating injured workers since 1982.  For over 25 years Dr. Maloff has delivered comprehensive psychopharmacologic services in a multi-disciplinary mental health setting.  Dr. Maloff became certified as a QME in 1994 and has completed over 1,000 medical-legal psychiatric evaluations.  Dr. Maloff has frequently served as an expert witness in workers' compensation and personal injury cases.

Raymond J. Coffin, Psy.D., QME

Dr. Coffin provides Medical-legal reporting, psychological testing, and psychotherapy, specializing in the treatment of chronic pain, PTSD, and severe emotional disorders.  Dr. Coffin is a clinical and business psychologist with over 25 years experience consulting to businesses in a wide range of industries in the highly competitive Southern California market. 

Dr. Coffin also served as the 2005-2007 Chair of the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Division of the California Psychological Association, and is an active member of the American Psychological Association's Division of Consulting Psychology, and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).  He holds a Master's Degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from the Claremont Graduate University, a doctorate in clinical psychology from Newport University, and is a licensed psychologist and Qualified Medical Examiner in the State of California.

Provides biofeedback services. Her areas of expertise lie in the treatment of stress-based health problems due to industrial injuries including chronic pain, posttraumatic stress disorder, and panic disorders. Patricia Grijalva, M.A., B.C.I.A.C. - Provides Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) biofeedback treatment. Her focus is on teaching techniques to manage chronic pain and tension control.
